I was the ship who was too proud to ever sink.

With Microb coming up right after Para, I'm not surprised at the amount of hostility people have for them no good microscopic disease carrying creatures. I swear, people have started to substitute 'fucker' and 'shithead' with 'Shigella' and 'Paragonimus'. Seriously, the line 'You're such a shigella head' is to be considered insulting now.

_____

Apart from being creepy at night, my room's 'The Godfather' orange lights creates this ominous environment for star stalking. (i call it stalking instead of gazing, because it sounds cooler)
It's just something to do you know, when I don't have anything else to do.

There was this time right after Tarawikh, I was feeling lazy like an fat tabby cat so I sat on the table watching the fireworks through my room window (which opens directly to the roof which is a big safety fail yet totally cool). I watched the green and the red of the fireworks fade and the white of stars lingering behind and I wished I could fly.

And there was that time I was with my best buddy at Shatby beach, sharing an earphone listening to Empire of the Sun with the winter wind in our faces, feeling so in love and alive and so very cold. That was one of the moments I will never forget untill I die, and that was the time I started a love affair with the iPod touch.

And there was that school trip to Perhentian. It had just rained and our teacher yelled at us but we lied down anyway on the wet sand because we were young and high school was awesome and it was a 'cool' thing to do. The sky that night, I particularly remember being absolutely breathless with millions of brighter, bigger stars and their trails of dusts and the cloudless pitch black sky.

And those hundreds of rooftops I've climbed on, the green/dead/freshly cut/wet grass I've stretched out on, the friends/crushes/dad/maid/exboyfriends I've had lying/standing/sitting next to me, the age I was at the time 10,17,18.

Whatever your take on them, whether you think they're holes God forgot to plug in and the white bright light is a sneak peek of what's really up there, or if they remind you of airplane lights and light pollution, or that they're there to keep watch over Earth while the Sun is asleep, or they're just insignificant bundles of gas million of lightyears away to you, or that when you look at them you feel immense gratitude to God for creating you as a human being and not a tapeworm or a giraffe(image tilting your head back with that neck).

Whatever it is, you have to honestly admit they are pretty damn awesome.

For me, the thing I love the most about them is the fact that they sort of only show themselves to those who are looking for them.

My subconcious just went 'Ika apa kes emo. V.Cholera punya selective medium apa?'
My subconcious is funny, I know.

& I will never forget the first sunrise I saw with the 2 most awesomest people I know last semester.

Apparently, us leaving 2nd year and boarding on the 3rd year train ride is making me a bit dreary and sad.

Frankly,I will miss these moments and I hope to create more with you soon after. Cheers.
